8th Grade Transition to Gridley High School Parent/Student Meetings

These are for 8th grade students, and their parents, who will be attending Gridley High School the following year. It is the first formal contact soon-to-be 9th grade students will have with the high school. These are very important in planning for a successful high school career.  Eighth graders will be looking at schedule choices, meeting the counselors, and hearing about the California Exit Exam in person.  Parents are strongly encouraged to attend to help guide their children in making important class and program choices. 

Prior to these meetings, all 8th grade students will take placement exams for English and Math on the following dates: April 30-May 2, 2008.

Eighth grade interviews at Sycamore will be on May 13th, 14th, and 15th.  Interview appointments will run from 8:30 am -2:45 pm and Gridley High School will notify parents of date and time.  If you cannot make it to your interview appointment, please call the high school counseling office at 846-4791 ext. 229, and reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.
