Dear Wilson School Community,

I would like to welcome you to the 2016-2017 school year and am excited to embark upon my 3rd year as the principal of Wilson Elementary School.  This year promises to be incredible for our students as we continue to focus on the Common Core State Standards, 21st century learning expectations, and the implementation of 1:1 technology!  In addition, our students will be ecstatic with our new school library and Stem Ed-Tech classroom that is equipped with a 3D printer, robotics, and iPads.

As Wilson Elementary's School Principal, I will also continue to foster Wilson's positive school climate, while focusing on academics and interventions as these two entities will ensure that our students are given a solid foundation for college and career readiness.

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year and am truly excited about meeting each of you!

Dot is a little girl that is quite tech savvy and knows a lot about the digital world.  As the story progresses, she is reminded of the importance of outdoor play and her brilliant imagination!  This is a great reminder for kids, and adults, of all ages!

  • What if Everybody Did That?

by Ellen Javernick Year Published: 2010

A great book designed to have students reflect on the impact of their actions.  Our Wilson students enjoyed listening to this story and reflecting on their own actions.
